Eating Right (my diet)

hey freaks!

as many of you know i love to stay in shape, and do martial arts and all that. people have been asking me recently what i do to stay in shape and eat right, and i just sent this as a message to one of my friends, so i thought id post it! and without further ado, i give you the caveman diet (paleo diet).

Here's the things you can/should be eating!
-MEATS (this includes red meats, chicken, pork, horse, cat, dog... any meat really)
-FISH/SEAFOOD (you can eat as much fish/seafood as you would like... as long as its not deep fried, breaded, or cooked in butter. this means baked, or cooked in some sort of healthy oil; olive oil, coconut oil...)
-FRESH FRUITS/VEGETABLES (realistically you can never eat too many fruits, or veggies... but the less citrusy ones you eat the better, mainly because they have really high sugar levels compared to other fruits, not to mention, the acidity will fuck up your teeth! and again you can eat all you want, as long as its not covered in ranch or other shitty dressing)
-EGGS (oh jeeesus i love eggs! i eat like 6 eggs a day, eggs are a very good source of very good protein, also have low carbs, and a substantial amount of good cholesterol. and on top of that eggs, are light.. so they'll take away your hunger and not over stuff you!)
-NUTS/SEEDS (nuts and seeds are very good for you, nice carbs, protein, fats, and they're delicious.... NOT PEANUTS, PEANUTS ARE LEGUMES!!!)
-OILS (i mentioned oils earlier... anytime you cook and wanna fry something, use natural healthy choice oil, not vegetable oil or any other Gross crap.. stick to things you know are healthy...if its questionable... its probably not good for you!)
-YOGURT (this is not actually part of the paleo diet, but i feel its good thing to replace things such as ice cream, when you get that urge...you can also eat yogurts for bfast and snacks, just make sure its good yogurt and not fake shit like go-gurt. also you can eat granola as well)
STAY AWAY FROM:
-CEREAL GRAINS -LEGUMES -DAIRY PRODUCTS (i know its hard) -REFINED SUGARS (buy some stuff called stevia, or sugar in the raw) -POTATOES -PROCESSED FOODS (pre-made stuff, microwavable, TV dinners, fast food) -EXCESS SALT -REFINED VEGETABLE OILS
it sounds really hard, but i promise you after a little bit of work to break a eating habit, and once you start to feel way better, you wont even miss the other stuff anymore, it will become super natural to eat healthy!!
also drink LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER... no soda or beer... one beer=3-4 full days of diet and exercise ruined...

Sonic Is TERRIBLE!!! ***review***

Sonic Drive-in: so, this place has been here for years and i just realized ive never eatin there. so i was like hell why not, lets go. me and my friend get there about 8:50 pm... i ordered a double bacon with chee... we tell them our orders will be seperate. so i tell him my order, and then had to repeat it 3 more times cuz he kept reading back the wrong thing.. then my friend orders a milkshake, soda, and a order of popcorn chicken. now let me tell you, how busy they were... there was us two...and 5 other people. so they werent busy at all. we sat and waited for our pretty small order for a good 25 minutes at least. then we finally got them and the not so bright employee was trying to charge my friend $16... for two drinks and a normal size popcorn chicken?!?! i got twice as much and mine was 7.99!!! so after we sort this out i ask for some fry sauce and honey mustard. the employee replies... ok ranch and fry sauce..i said noooo.. honey mustard...he brings me my sauce and we drive h...

Podcast Update!!

wellll... im uploading episode #8 as we speak. episode 8 we have the guest Allen Garl, a former martial artist, who loves the sport of mma just as much as me. its a little late, but we sit down and talk about UFC 162 and the huge upset!!! hear our thoughts and opinions. episode 1 & 2 have been deleted, i explained why in the last post. upcoming episodes... tomorrow we have tim nolan and cece ruiz, from first and twenty six, coming on to shoot the shit, all the way from arizonaaaaa! gonna be a good one! then sometime in the upcoming week we're gonna have Jennifer Galster, the front lady and lead singer of RAGDOLL, on and we're probably gonna talk some music and band stuff, she'll let you know whats going on as far as what shows are coming up. then next sunday we have two members of the band Rozebuds, Jp Bogan and Keefe Hirtle, to share how their new band is doing, and we might even have a little bit of acoustic jamming going on! so there's whats coming up ppl...
